In '07 I finished a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University. My wife (Meghan) and I moved to Bettendorf in 2000 after spending 2 years in Cameron, Missouri. I taught Biology and Chemistry there along with being an Asst. Varsity Football Coach, 7th Grade Basketball Coach and JH Track Coach. Since being at PV I have taught Earth Science, Environmental Science, Biology, and Principles Of Biomedical Science. I have also been a part of the football staff since 2000, was a varsity and JH thrower's coach and a 7th grade basketball coach. In November of 2010 my wife and I had our first child. Will has spent a good portion of the beginning of his life at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. He was born with a very rare heart defect called HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome) and has had many open heart surgeries in the first 9 months of his life. He was listed on the heart transplant list with the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital in July of 2014 because of some complications with the heart defect. Will was hospitalized from January 6th of 2017 til the end of January 2018. (was home briefly for Christmas) During this time he spent many months on an external heart (VAD), received a new heart in September of 2017, but ended up getting cancer and passing away on January 27th of 2017.
